XDiavel V4 · Ducati's power cruiser
In Ducati's 2026 range, the XDiavel V4 sits alone — the only cruiser in a lineup of superbikes and adventure machines. Ducati rebuilt it around the V4 Granturismo, making it the most powerful thing in its class by a comfortable margin.
Our take: Four miles on the clock. This is effectively a new machine at a used-machine conversation. The V4 Granturismo pulls like a freight train and sounds like Bologna's opera house on fire.
This one barely has a life yet — four miles. Somebody ordered it, signed for it, rolled it into a garage, and blinked. Perhaps the garage was already full. Perhaps the marriage objected. Its story hasn't been written, which is precisely the appeal: the first real chapter belongs to you, and it begins with a cold start that rattles the neighbor's windows in Italian.
A LOVINGLY IMAGINED HISTORY · THE MILES ARE REAL, THE ROMANCE IS OURS
The XDiavel rider owns good espresso equipment and knows why. They've done a track day or they're lying about planning one. They want a cruiser silhouette with superbike internals — feet forward, 168 horses, zero apologies. They cross-shopped nothing.
The motorcycle press has treated the V4-era XDiavel as the definitive power cruiser — drag-strip numbers with genuine long-haul manners, and handling no 500-plus-pound cruiser has a right to. The consensus critique: the price, which buying it lightly used neatly solves.
From Borgo Panigale, Bologna, Ducati builds motorcycles the way Italy builds everything it cares about — obsessively. Desmodromic valves, trellis frames, and a racing department that treats World Superbike titles as a baseline expectation.
