Rieju

Ninety years of Spanish stubbornness — now with GasGas enduro DNA.

Figueres, Spain · est. 1934
The story

How Rieju happened.

Rieju has been building motorcycles in Figueres, Catalonia since 1934 — through civil war, dictatorship, and every market upheaval since, always the small factory that refused to die. Salvador Dalí's hometown builds surrealism and motorcycles; Rieju supplies the second.

The masterstroke came in 2020: when KTM absorbed GasGas, Rieju acquired the rights and tooling to the proven GasGas enduro platform — real, race-winning hardware — and kept building and developing it. The result is the MR line: legitimate championship-grade two-stroke enduro machines from a factory most Americans have never heard of. Utah gets exactly one door into that world.

Things to know

Questions we actually get.

Is Rieju just rebadged GasGas?
It's the real platform, purchased outright and still being developed by the factory — the machine GasGas riders loved, kept alive after KTM moved on.
Two-stroke in 2026 — really?
For hard enduro, two-strokes never stopped being the answer: lighter, simpler, rebuildable in a garage. The MR300 is why they persist.
Where do I ride one in Utah?
Everywhere the trucks can't go — Utah's singletrack and technical canyon country is world-class enduro terrain. Ask us for trail beta with your test ride.
The tribe

Who rides the sign.

Hard enduro people are their own species — they ride up things the rest of us won't walk up, break levers for fun, and know every Erzberg finisher by name. Rieju's factory literally opens its doors to them (watch the film below). That's the club this sign belongs to.
