Yes, that Segway. After Ninebot acquired the personal-transport pioneer, the engineering ambitions got bigger — and in 2020 Segway Powersports launched with a full line of side-by-sides and ATVs designed like tech products: hybrid drivetrains, app connectivity, and spec sheets that undercut the established players.
The Villain sport machines, UT10 utility line, and the 2,000cc Super Villain are the challenge flag thrown at Polaris and Can-Am: same category, more standard equipment, aggressive pricing. Utah's trail and farm country is exactly the proving ground — and Salto is where the brand lands here.
Segway buyers are early adopters by nature — the people who'd rather have more machine for the money than pay for a decal everyone already has. Utah's UTV scene (Moab, the dunes, ten thousand miles of trail) is about to meet them.
