Element 01

The Tushars

11,500-foot ridgelines on a dirt bike. The tallest mountains in Utah nobody's heard of.

Element 02

Trail towns

Gas, burgers, motels — the loop threads through them on purpose. This is the model.

Element 03

Miner's Park to Bullion

Ghost-mine country above Marysvale — history with throttle attached.

GoPro run — in the queue

Every route on this guide gets ridden and filmed by the shop. This one hasn't had its camera day yet — it's on the Saturday list, and the footage drops right here when it happens.

The dossier

Why this road.

The Paiute isn't a trail so much as a civilization: a 275-mile main loop through three mountain ranges with over 2,000 miles of side routes, and whole towns — Marysvale, Circleville, Fillmore — where you gas up, eat, and sleep without ever leaving the machine. Utah's street-legal law is the cheat code here: plated machines connect trail to town to trail. It climbs past 11,000 feet on the Tushar range, which most people can't name and which is taller than anything in the Wasatch. Ride it in fall when the Tushars go gold and try to act normal afterward.

Machines for this ride

This is Rieju and TM country, full stop. Also everything Segway builds. It's why the floor looks the way it does.
